Bobby has definitely decided he loves the good life of a house cat.
He has improved significantly since he was neutered and we brought him back from the shelter. There have been no fights and he has decided he definitely loves the good life of a house cat. Before he would freak out if the cat door was closed and he couldn't get outside. Now he lounges on one of the beds or on the couch all day and, if the cat door is closed, he just wanders off to find a soft place to sleep. He'll wander out occasionally to grab some food and give us his adorable "purrrrr-OW" then wander back and find a warm, soft spot.
Just chillin' on the couch.
Bobby hangs with Kent and "Fluffy."
The one thing Bobby will not tolerate is adult males. Aggie, the Animal Control Officer at the Ivins Shelter, and I agree that he was abused by a man or men before he was dumped. He will let a woman get close to him and pet him if you take it slow and easy, but he freaks out when a man gets close. It is the only time he has ever offered any violence. It is possible he may get to trust a man if he is willing to take his time and be very gentle.
Bobby even puts up with Kassie.
